100g of beautiful dark brown Shetland roving processed at Rampisham Hill Mill. The mill is partially powered by renewable energy including solar power and specialise in small batch yarns and fibres. This roving is from our own high welfare flock at the homestead. The skein in the photos is an example of the yarn I’ve handspun from it, and I must say, it spins beautifully! The colour is a rich peaty brown with silver flecks.
