Handspun & Handknit Squirrel Mitts - Oak

These beautiful gloves are handknitted from yarn I’ve handspun from my own flock of sheep at the homestead. The wool is from primitive breed sheep (hebridean and Shetland) and is in their natural colours of browns, greys and black. Each pair takes an incredible amount of work, a real Labour of love and an heirloom to treasure. They are raw, authentic, and are a real piece of artisan clothing. These are both extremely warm and comfortable to wear, and very practical for those of us who live outdoor lives. This size fits women’s hands small and medium. With proper care and darning, these gloves will last you through many a grey and dismal winter. They are made 100% without any mechanical processing and in the same way our ancestors made their clothes for hundreds of years.
